Our 3rd Annual Super Bocce Bowl was an absolutely spectacular success! The event took place on a perfect Saturday morning, February 8, 2025, at the Sunset Kiwanis Bocce Courts nestled in the heart of beautiful Fountain Hills, Arizona. We were overwhelmed by the tremendous turnout and enthusiastic participation from our wonderful club members, who not only came to play and cheer on their fellow competitors but also contributed to our amazing potluck spread with an impressive array of homemade dishes, delectable desserts, and refreshing beverages.
The competition was fierce yet friendly throughout the day, with several nail-biting matches that kept spectators on the edge of their seats. In an exciting finale, this year’s coveted trophy was captured once again by the incredibly skilled Ivan Moretti, who secured victory for his team with a perfectly placed winning point. This marks his second consecutive championship victory, demonstrating his remarkable consistency in the sport! Together with his talented teammates Laura, Terri, and Carol, they displayed exceptional teamwork and sportsmanship throughout the tournament before ultimately claiming their well-deserved victory. Congratulations to our champions!
